Based in Montreal, Canada, Bram Rubinger is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in a lifetime of visual exploration.
Educated at St. Martin’s School of Art in London, he immersed himself in drawing, painting, design, and art history within a bold and experimental academic environment. He later honed his skills at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, studying under Arthur Lismer, Patrick Landsley, and Moe Reinblatt, where he earned a Special Distinction in Life Drawing.
With nearly five decades of experience in advertising, Rubinger developed a masterful sense of composition, form, and colour qualities that now infuse his paintings with balance, rhythm, and emotional clarity. His work bridges the precision of design and the spontaneity of artistic gesture, reflecting both discipline and freedom.
